Terms & Conditions

Terms Of Service

1. Parties 

Provider: Ceres Vegetable (“we”, “our”) 

Customer: The individual or entity placing the order (“you”, “your”) 
 

2. Scope of Service 

We deliver vegetables, as per your order, to the address provided. 
 

3. Order Process & Pricing 

- You must register and provide accurate contact and delivery details. 

- Prices (in SGD, including GST) are based on weight or per-item rates and may fluctuate due  to market conditions. 

- Orders are billed at final price at dispatch; weight-based items are reweighed at packing. 
 

4. Delivery 

- We deliver to most locations except Sentosa Island and Jurong Island. - Cut-off time for next-day delivery is 9:30 PM. 

- Delivery fees apply for orders under $50; free delivery for orders above that threshold. 

- We use commercially reasonable efforts to meet delivery slots; delays due to external  factors (e.g., weather, traffic) are possible and not liable to us. 
 

5. Substitutions & Out-of-Stock Items 

- If an item is unavailable, we may substitute with a similar item unless you opt out. 

- We strive to contact you for approval if needed; otherwise, we will refund the unavailable  item. 
- To the extent permitted by law, neither we nor our licensors will be liable to you or any other person for any Loss arising in connection with the unavailability of any Goods.
 

6. Returns & Refunds 
- Refunds & returns are only applicable if, we delivered the wrong item to you,
an item from your order was missing or you are not satisfied with any items in your order from us  due to freshness concerns.

- No returns accepted if vegetable has been tampered with (e.g., cut,chopped) due to hygiene reasons. 

- Report missing or damaged items via whatsapp 8806 3007 within 24 hours, including a  photo. 

- Refunds will be processed within 1–2 business days via the original payment method.
-Any replacement or refund is subject to you returning the Goods to us; and
we may not be required to provide any of the remedies set out unless you have complied with our Refund Policy and taken reasonable steps to prevent any loss, damage, or further deterioration of the Goods.

 

7. Customer Obligations 

- Provide accurate information and be present to receive the order or give clear drop-off  instructions. 

- Store perishables appropriately and consume within a reasonable timeframe. 
 

8. Limitation of Liability 

- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. 

- Our maximum liability is limited to the total order value. 
 

9. Force Majeure 

We are not liable for non-performance due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural  disasters, strikes, pandemics). 
 

10. Termination 

We may suspend or terminate service if you breach these Terms or if there are reasonable  suspicions of misuse. 
 

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution 

- These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. 

- Disputes will first be addressed through amicable negotiations. If unresolved, they may be  submitted to mediation or the Singapore courts. 
 

12. Amendments 

We may update these Terms. We'll send the amended terms for your approval. 
 

13. Payment Terms 

- For weekly payment arrangements, full payment is due within 7 calendar days from the  invoice issue date. 

- For monthly payment arrangements, full payment is due within 30 calendar days from the  invoice issue date. 

- Failure to make timely payment may result in suspension of future deliveries until  outstanding amounts are cleared. 

- If payment will be delayed, you are required to inform us in advance and make reasonable  efforts to pay promptly. 

- A late payment fee of 5% of the outstanding amount may be charged at our discretion for  overdue invoices.
 

14. Exchanges for Missing, Wrong, or Spoilt Items 

- If you receive a missing, incorrect, or spoilt item, please inform us by 12:00 PM on the day of  delivery so we can make same-day arrangements to redeliver or exchange the item. 

Requests made after 12:00 PM will be handled at our discretion and may be arranged with  your next scheduled order. 

15. Debt recovery and related losses
- You agree to compensate us for any Loss we incur, including debt recovery expenses, resulting from your failure to pay any amount due under these Terms.

16. Insurance
- You are responsible for arranging and covering all costs related to insuring any Goods you purchase.

17. Safety 
- We do not guarantee or represent that any food items or recipes are suitable for any specific purpose, including, without limitation, suitability for individuals with allergies. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for ensuring that any food you consume does not contain ingredients to which you may be allergic.
